If you want to change the name or the title of your Nest thermostat, this is the article for you. Please follow the step by step instructions as seen below, and you will have a new title for your Nest thermostat in no time.

  1. Open the Nest app and login to your system
  2. Once you have entered the main page, on the top right side of the app there is a settings icon. Select the icon and enter the settings page.

  3. Then you will see your thermostats at the bottom of the page, select the one you'd like to change (NOTE: if the names are similar, try using the temperature that it is displaying as the hint to which thermostat is which).

  4. Once you are in the thermostat details, you can select the first category titled "where"

  5. This is where you can change the title or location of the thermostat.
